Make a Wish layout

I created this lo for two challenges. One for scrappin n chattin where we needed to create a layout about a celebration. The second one is for Get Your Sketch On (http://www.getyoursketchon.blogspot.com/) using the sketch for this week. I used some pictures of Will at his birthday dinner last year. We went out to eat with my parents and after dinner the waiter brought out a special sundae with a candle for dessert. I used a piece of Fancy Pants paper for the bottom layer and cardstock for everything else. I cut out the candle and the balloons and make a wish with the Cricut cartridge Wrap It Up. Thanks for looking.

Time Flies layout

This lo has a photo of Will in 2005 when he started kindergarten and a photo from this year in 5th grade. The journaling says that he is finishing his last year of elementary school and will go on to middle school next year. I used papers from Cosmo Crickets lil man colection and stamps from a new set that my friend April sent me. This lo fits 3 challenges. One at Sassy lil' Sketches, I used their sketch for the lo, the second is at Lasting Memories, I used stamps for the wording and clock, the challenge there was to use stamps on your lo. Third its for Scrappin n chattins monthly challenges this lo fits the double dip challenge. I was supposed to create a lo for another groups challenge. This one qualifies and is actually a triple dip!

First Year LO & entry for Artful Delights Blog

I created this lo for three challenges.  Two are for the Scrapping & Chattin group I belong to.  One is for a LO with the word or words New Year.  I chose to use Year for a lo of Will's first year of hockey.  I also used it for a weekly challenge we are competing in to create 52 lo's this year.  I am also entering it in the Artful Delight challenge this month.  You can see the sketch here:  http://artfuldelight.blogspot.com/2011/01/happy-new-year-asc4.html .  I really like the sketch as it is very simple and provided a good basis for my photos and embelishments.  I used three photos of Will after one of his first travel hockey games.  Thanks for looking.
